Coco Brun is a Parisian artist whose practice revolves around drawing, sculpture and tapestry.
Encompassing rhythmic motifs, a minimalist aesthetic and geometric abstraction, her inspiration stems from architecture, mythology and folk tales.
The artist has conceived Italian leather casings made for slipping around candles: three astonishing creations born out of her encounter with the Diptyque universe. The colour combinations, inspired by the tradition initiated by the company's founders, are reminiscent of tissue paper. Playful shapes cut out of leather frame the Maison's oval in a jubilant graphic silhouette. These unique decorative accessories attest to an artistic approach combined with a passion for artisanal techniques: paint applied with a brush to the edge, hand-stitched leather … Each piece is unique, like a custom-made candle sleeve.
The end of year collection features dancing and joyous flames. They adorn the flamboyant gifts of the collection. And they make the imagination wander.
